Dr. Illuri Reddy was destined for medicine at a very early age. Having familial role models practicing in radiology and medical academia, she began her journey into medicine in her native India, but finished her Internal Medicine residency here in the mountains of Tennessee (where she and her family have never left, falling in love with our area’s pristine, natural beauty).

Dr. Reddy has always enjoyed the thrill of a challenge and the exhilaration of thinking quickly and solving problems on her feet. In part, this is what originally attracted her to Emergency Medicine, and held her interest for 24 years. However, across her two dozen years in the ED, Dr. Reddy has seen sweeping changes in the way medical care is delivered. Over the years, as her freedom to spend ample time with patients dwindled, her desire to make a profound difference in their lives only grew. It was a friend who suggested that the growing field of medical aesthetics could provide a potential intersection—a place where Dr. Reddy could marry her love of medicine, solving challenges, and making life-changing differences, with the ability to spend more time with patients, forming meaningful relationships that could span a lifetime.

After attaining her very first certifications in neurotoxins, injectable fillers, PDO threads, and advanced laser technologies, Dr. Reddy has found a place of true passion. She loves combining anti-aging aesthetic treatments that stimulate the body’s own natural healing mechanisms. She is committed to breaking down barriers for people to seek out and attain confidence by improving they way they feel about themselves, both inside and out. She finds special fulfillment in working with her young adult patients who have faced confidence-crushing adversity battling acne and obesity.

In founding RNA Medical Aesthetics, Dr. Reddy has sought to build a center with a warm family feel that values inclusion, approachability, and transparency. Lighthearted by nature, patients love her ability to laugh with them, making them feel instantly comfortable and at home.

Dr. Vijay Reddy began his career in the sciences devoted to advanced chemistry research. After obtaining a Ph.D. in Chemistry in India, he pursued a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, where he was also an Assistant Professor. He then went on to work as an Advanced Research Chemist at the Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport, TN for several years. While his affinity for scientific research is still prevalent today, it was his original childhood dream of becoming a doctor that brought him back to academia to pursue a “mid-life crisis medical degree”—as he affectionately coins it—in his mid 40’s! Dr. Reddy’s sense of humor and genuine humility about his journey as a highly skilled physician is as wonderfully refreshing as it is inspiring.

Dr. Reddy began his medical career in Emergency Room Medicine, and has been in practice in this setting for nearly 15 years. However, several years ago, he and his wife, Dr. Illuri Reddy, were introduced to the growing field of aesthetic medicine by professional friends. After exploring the advanced non-surgical, minimally invasive innovations that were changing the landscape of anti-aging, cosmetic, and wellness care, Dr. Reddy was simultaneously blown-away and hooked. What opened his eyes the most was how confident, happy, and optimistic patients were following their treatments. Being able to help individuals be their best selves and live fulfilled lives, no matter where they are on the aging continuum, is what drives him the most as co-founder and Medical Director of RNA Medical Aesthetics today.

Dr. Reddy puts his research expertise to work every day in bringing the safest and most effective treatments to patients of RNA. He has sought advanced training and gained clinical expertise in laser and energy based treatments for skin rejuvenation & tightening, RF assisted lipo-suction, and body sculpting. In addition, he is skilled in PRP/PRF regenerative medicine for hair restoration and a myriad of anti-aging interventions. He enjoys working with men and women to build overall wellness treatment plans that incorporate hormone restoration therapy, nutraceutical supplements, nutrition counseling, and sexual health solutions. Away from the office, Dr. Reddy enjoys spending time with his family cooking internationally inspired meals, and collecting fine wines and coffee from around the world.

With over 18 years of nursing experience—including 12 years as an aesthetic injector—Lauren brings deep expertise and a refined eye to every treatment she performs. Known for her gentle technique and personalized approach, she’s passionate about helping clients look and feel their absolute best. Lauren is also an instructor at Pacific Northwest Aesthetic Academy, where she trains fellow medical professionals in the art and science of cosmetic injections. She loves that aesthetics is constantly evolving and enjoys staying at the forefront of industry advancements. When she’s not in the treatment room or classroom, you’ll likely find her outdoors—hiking, biking, or soaking up the sunshine on the water with her husband, daughter, and their pup.

Alesha’s nursing career spans nearly three decades and her work with both Dr. Illuri Reddy and Dr. Vijay Reddy goes back almost as far. Originally an ER Nurse, the transition into aesthetics has been incredibly rewarding for Alesha. She loves hearing patients say how their treatments can be “life-changing.” When they share stories about how their new look has helped them find a new job, meet a soulmate, or simply feel more confident in their own skin, her hard work pays off in the most meaningful way. She loves being part of the RNA team because of the mutual support and natural camaraderie they all find in one another. When Alesha does get to finally relax, she enjoys spending time with her husband on their boat—out on one of Tennessee’s fabulous lakes.

Miranda began her aesthetics journey in 2014, graduating from the Steiner Institute of Aesthetics in Baltimore, MD in 2015. What started as a love for skincare and makeup in middle school quickly grew into a true passion—and now a rewarding career. After completing her additional licensing requirements for Tennessee in 2021, she dove headfirst into the world of medical aesthetics. She’s especially drawn to treatments that deliver immediate, visible results—helping clients feel confident and radiant from the moment they leave her chair. Her favorite services to perform include dermaplaning and HydraFacials, and she swears by her must-have product: ZO’s Illuminating AOX Serum. Miranda brings energy, expertise, and a deep love for skin health to every appointment—and she’s just getting started.

Described by her teammates as the “glue that holds everything together,” Rachel’s motivating and positive personality sets the perfect tone for both patients and staff at RNA. Her “patient first” approach ensures our clients feel welcome, pampered, and extremely well cared for from the moment they walk through the door. Prior to joining our team, Rachel spent 10 years in a recruiting role at Mountain States Health Alliance. After taking a few years off, Rachel first became a patient at RNA. In a little twist of irony, she quickly found herself being recruited by us! In Rachel, we saw all the spirit, genuine warmth, and operational/people skills required to inspire our entire staff to move mountains when it comes to making patients feel comfortable, relaxed, and loved.

After attaining her BA from UNC Charlotte in 2019, Anjali has enjoyed putting her Business Marketing degree and talent to immediate use here at RNA Medical Aesthetics. She has grown an instant love for the benefits of good skin care, having seen firsthand how it can transform the way a person feels about themselves—inside and out.

Anjali loves being a part of the team at RNA because, as she states, “We are such a close-knit group. We are like a true family.” She also enjoys pitching in to help her teammates make every patient visit relaxing and memorable.

Originally from Lebanon, VA, Laura joined the RNA Abingdon team shortly after making the town her home in 2022. Though new to the aesthetics industry, she brings a genuine passion for customer service and a warm, welcoming energy that makes every client feel right at home. Her eagerness to learn and support both clients and providers has already made her an invaluable part of the RNA family. Whether she’s answering questions, helping schedule treatments, or simply greeting you with a smile—Laura is here to make your experience seamless and enjoyable from start to finish.
